The Mummas Village will be hosted by community member Esther. Esther is passionate about holding space for women in community\, ensuring no mother is left behind. DESCRIPTION:You know what’s really cool about skateboarding? Not just that repetitive action of trying again and again to make a trick stick\, but that unspoken culture\, community and connection formed around something as simple as standing on a piece of wood with wheels. It’s all about finding your people! \nAnd that’s where this workshop comes in\, let’s create together and find people that love what you love. \nJoin us while we paint/draw on our own skateboards\, make pals and find our people within our community. \nWorkshop led by Artist – Jordyn Burnett (Studio of Jo) \nMy name is Jordyn (people call me Jo). I’m just a She/They with a dream to make art and have no money. \nI’m based on Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi Country (Sunshine Coast). \nI am an Illustrator + Graphic Designer + Facilitator + Curator + Painter. \nI’ve been in the ‘art game’ for about 6ish years and have been in Art shows\, had Solo Exhibitions\, Curated Exhibitions\, facilitated workshops\, been a Mentor\, artist talks and more. \nWorkshop Info \n\nEach participant is provided a skate deck (but you can bring your own if you want to work on that).\nPaint pens provided.\n\nCover artwork: Jordyn Burnett \nSupported by Living Well Noosa (Noosa Council) and Pomona & District Community House \n  \n
