SUMMARY:Community House Stall @ Pomona Family Fun Day
DESCRIPTION:We’re looking forward to being part of Cooroy Pomona Lions Club “Pomona Family Fun Day”. We’ll have a PCH stall their again this year. Come drop by our stall have a chat\, play a game\, hang out\, colour in\, or jigsaw puzzle. Local artist Valerie will be bringing her textile wonders again to make our stall joyfully colourful. Yep the Pompol tree will be sprouting. \nWe’ll also have hot off the press our ‘2025 Community Compass: your guide to volunteering in the Noosa Hinterland’ booklet. A great way to find out how you can connect in with community\, have some fun and contribute. \nDon’t forget to checkout Pomona Newsagency’s window in the lead up to Pomona Family Fun Day. Using the Family Fun Day as their inspiration\, PCH Lego Club have been letting their imaginations go wild. You’ll even find the PCH Stall in Lego (is that Kate on the roof?). On display from 14 July. Lego Club meetings every second Tuesday of the month 6pm-7:30pm\,Lawson Shed.

Feel free to pull out the dance moves!\nLaser Show Extravaganza @ 8pm\nXmas Hamper Raffles\nWinner of the Best Pomona Business Display will be announced. Cooroy Pomona Lions club judges are out and about.\nFood available:\n\nCooroy Pomona Lions Club BBQ/drinks\nDhoms Kitchen\nLittle Boy Blue Coffee Van\nIce-cream van\n\n\nand Santa will be there too!\n\nThanks to funding provided by Noosa Council three year festive season grant\, and funding provided to Community House by Department of Treaty\, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships\, Communities and the Arts. \n \n

So even if you aren’t in a build session you are welcome to drop by and see these amazing builds. Located in Pomona Memorial Hall.\n\nAnd enjoy all the other activities of Pomona Family Fun Day a project of the Cooroy Pomona Lions Club.

Music kicks off at 5:00pm. \n\nPomona Festive Community Choir will be performing a range of songs and carols for you to sing-a-long with. Excitingly\, they will also be performing an original song “Pomona you’re Beautiful to Me” written by the talented workshop band Pomona Girls Rock. The song was written by our young ones aged 4-11 years old at the PCH Spring School Holiday program held in September. Facilitated by songwriter Kate Marian Rose\, the children learnt how to song write using nature as their inspiration.\nMusic by Folked Up @ 5pm and Buckleys Chance\nLaser Show Extravaganza @ 8pm\nXmas Hamper Raffles\nWinner of the Best Pomona Business Display will be announced. Cooroy Pomona Lions club judges are out and about.\nFood available:\n\nCooroy Pomona Lions Club BBQ/drinks\nDhoms Kitchen\nLittle Boy Blue Coffee Van\nIce-cream van\n\n\nand Santa will be there too!\n\nThanks to assistance provided through the jointly funded Commonwealth State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA)\, and Noosa Council three year festive season grant.
