DESCRIPTION:Pomona & District Community House\, in collaboration with The Spot in Cooroy\, invites you to The Spotlight— live music\, art\, great food and excellent company. \nMatthew Stacey returns to The Spot with his soulful grooves and indie spirit\, in collaboration with our House songstress\, Kate Marian Rose. \nMatthew Stacey is an Australian singer-songwriter blending soul\, funk\, and indie influences inspired by Al Green and The Beatles. A veteran performer\, he’s played Blues Festival with The Regime and co-created the project\, Pro Uno. His debut album ‘Season of Love’ and single “Freshwater” showcase his rich vocals\, deep grooves\, and timeless melodies that connect with audiences everywhere. \nKate Marian Rose is a woman of song whose music is raw and authentic\, weaving together stark prose\, poetry\, and heartfelt melodies; a performer described by fellow musicians as ‘expressive’\, ‘uplifting’ and ‘with velvet tones’. \nCommunity House is excited to support The Spot to expand as a flourishing hub for social connection\, creativity and collaboration. \nSaturday\, October 04\,  2025 @ The Spot- 15 Diamond Street. DESCRIPTION:Community House\, in collaboration with The Spot in Cooroy\, invites you to The Spotlight—an enchanting evening of songs\, stories\, and art. Part of our Harmonising Spaces project\, this intimate showcase features heartfelt performances by singer-songwriter Jacqui Sterling and local duo Soul Tree Union. Hosting the evening is Pomona & District Community House’s resident songstress\, Kate Marian Rose. Adding a unique touch\, renowned Noosa Hinterland artist Sarah Jane Welsh will create a live artwork during the show\, bringing inspiration to life. Community House is excited to support The Spot to expand as a flourishing hub for social connection\, creativity and collaboration.  Light meals and bar available from 6pm.  Show starts at 7.30pm. All proceeds from the bar will go toward the Community Pantry at Pomona & District Community House \n“The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Noosa Shire Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.”
