Beyond the birds and the bees: A parent/caregiver’s guide to teens, screens and online safety

An eye-opening talk on keeping your teen safe online

Are you worried about your teenager’s online world and how it might be shaping their attitudes and expectations?

Join Natalie Stokell for an eye-opening talk on keeping your teen safe online, including how to have the conversation about p*rn. Discover practical strategies to engage in open, honest discussions, promote healthy attitudes towards sexuality, and equip yourself with the tools you need to support your teen’s safety and wellbeing in 2026.

The talk will cover:

  • The psycho-social phase of adolescence
  • Keeping your kids safe online
  • Teen brains and p*rn
  • Online perceptions vs real-world reality
  • Setting your teens up for healthy relationships
  • Conversation starters
  • Q & A

The talk will be delivered in hybrid mode. While we believe face-to-face delivery leads to better connection, we understand that this is not always possible with the demands of life and are offering online mode as well.

Light refreshments provided.
