Welcome to the August/September/October 2026 edition of What’s On at Pomona & District Community House and around the Hinterland.

We got a grant! We are excited to be able to offer workshops for women entering/re-entering the workforce after a period of disengagement and/or absence from the workforce and the education realm. Workshops in employment preparation and financial literacy (pg10). There is also PRIDE Party-Wear it Purple on Saturday 15 August 7-9pm. Through music, dance and shared celebration, we aim to foster a community where diversity is embraced and everyone feels safe to be themselves (pg14). GATHAA First Nation markets are at Community House on 12 September, and we’ve also got a free lunch and more for Celebrating Seniors at the Majestic Theatre on 13 October (pg14).
