We are an incorporated not-for-profit organisation aimed at increasing community participation. There are a lot of ways you can work with PCH and get involved in your local community. Learn more about:

Become a member
Join as a member of Pomona & District Community House
Here at Pomona & District Community House, we are driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high quality data evaluation.
We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
Community Neighbourhood Centres are driven by their members. As a member:
- You have a chance to participate and contribute to your local community.
- You can find out more about issues that impact on your community.
- You can be an active member through a Management Committee Role or another Volunteer position.
- You contribute to assisting this valued resource to continue to operate in your community!
Membership is open to all people over the age of 18.

Membership details
- Membership fee: $5.00 per person (for 12 months)
- Membership term: 1 July to 30 June
- Payment method: We use community platform GiveNow to manage our memberships.

Everyone has something to contribute, even if you can only offer time once a month.

The collective aims to activate local spaces and provide opportunities for mentorship and performance for emerging artisans.
Boomerang Bags
Boomerang Bags meet weekly at Pomona & District Community House. This regular group is a great way to get involved and tackle plastic pollution at its source.
Student Placement
Tertiary student placement with Pomona and District Community House
We offer student placement for teritiary students at PCH, for students studying degrees in Social Work or Human Services. If you’re interested in undertaking student placement at PCH, please complete the application form below. We will be in touch soon!
